Supporting MFL departments in the UK and UAE

Our story

Two sisters. Two MFL degrees. Two very different careers. One mission.

I’m Rose, founder of Inspiring Linguists. After studying Spanish and English Language at the University of Birmingham, I became an MFL teacher, working in schools across the UK and UAE. My twin sister, Elizabeth, who also studied MFL at university, followed a different path into journalism and is now the BBC’s first Spanish football reporter.

I created Inspiring Linguists to help students discover where languages can take them through the stories of inspiring professionals and the different ways languages have shaped their careers.
