About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Inspiring Linguists ("we", "us"). By buying a membership or using the site, you agree to them. Please also read our privacy policy.

Membership and payment

• Memberships are sold and delivered through Gumroad, which takes payment, sends receipts and gives you access to the resources. Gumroad's own terms also apply to your purchase.
• Card payments are taken yearly in advance, and the membership renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel from your Gumroad account at any time, and you keep access until the end of the year you've paid for.
• Invoice payments: if your school pays by invoice, the membership starts once the invoice is paid and lasts 12 months. It doesn't renew automatically; we'll send a new invoice when it's due.
• We don't give refunds for part-used periods, except where the law requires it.
• If we change our prices, we'll tell you at least 30 days before the change affects your membership, so you can cancel first if you want to.
• Please keep your Gumroad login to yourself, and give us accurate details when you buy or ask for an invoice.

Using the resources

The resources are protected by copyright, which stays with us. While you're a member, we give you a personal licence to use the resources your plan includes for your own teaching.

You can:

• print and copy them for your pupils and colleagues in your school
• adapt and edit them for your classes
• share them on your school's own systems, such as a VLE or Google Classroom, where only your pupils and staff can see them

You can't:

• share, sell or publish them, or your edited versions of them, outside your school, including on resource-sharing sites or social media
• share your login or pass resources on to anyone outside your school
• remove our name or copyright notices
• bulk-download the library or use automated tools to copy it

You can keep using copies you downloaded while you were a member in your own teaching after your membership ends. They stay covered by this licence.

Fair use of the site

Please don't try to get around the access restrictions on the resources, interfere with the site, or use it for anything unlawful. If someone breaks these terms, we may end their membership.

Our resources

We work hard to make our resources accurate and up to date. They're designed to support your teaching, though, so please check that they suit your classes and your exam board's latest specification. We may update, replace or retire resources over time.

Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law. Otherwise, we aren't responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for business losses. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

If you're a consumer, these terms don't affect your legal rights.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make important changes, we'll let members know before they take effect.

The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you have a problem, please contact us first. We'll always try to sort it out.
